T-ara’s Ham Eun-jung Jokes She’s a “Top 10 Chaebol Diamond Spoon” in New Drama Appearance
On May 13, Ham Eun Jung and Lee Ga-ryeong—co-stars of KBS2’s daily drama “Queen’s House“—were guests on the “Tuesday Reserved Seat” of KBS1’s “AM Plaza“.
“Queen’s House“, which premiered on April 28, is a revenge drama about a woman who believed her life was perfect until it was completely turned upside down, prompting her to reclaim everything that was taken from her. The drama has been performing steadily, recording a peak viewership rating of 8.6%. Ham Eun-jung and Lee Ga-ryeong play Kang Jae-in and Kang Se-ri, respectively.
Ham Eun-jung shared “I’m filming today too. I shoot about four to five days a week. Sometimes we film a week’s worth of episodes in a single day or over three days” revealing her busy schedule. She added, “I’ve worked on both KBS1 and KBS2 daily dramas. KBS1 has more of a family-oriented vibe, while KBS2 portrays the spicier, more intense sides of life—so it’s full of joy, anger, sorrow and happiness.”
She humorously introduced her character by saying, “I’m a diamond spoon born into one of the top 10 conglomerate families in Korea. It may seem familiar, but this drama offers a different kind of entertainment.” When asked about Lee Ga-ryeong, who plays the villain, Ham Eun-jung playfully added, _”From the very first episode, she and my husband…”_—then trailed off, making everyone laugh.
“Queen’s House” continues to air on KBS2, captivating viewers with its blend of drama, rivalry and revenge.
Meanwhile, Ham Eun-jung lost her mother on November 27, 2024. She recently expressed her longing for her mother after visiting her grave.
